Workplace Harassment Policies and Procedures are developed by our governments, organizations, companies, agencies, and institutions in an effort to assist in creating a harassment free workplace.  They are guidelines used in determining whether or not unacceptable behaviours (eg. Abusive, unfair, or demeaning treatment) have occurred, and are written to clarify the steps to be taken when someone feels that they are treated a disrespectful manner.  Harassment policies and procedures are designed and intended to protect employees.

The primary goal of our external Harassment Investigation is twofold: First to determine whether or not the harassment has occurred; and secondly, to provide recommendations for resolution and positive change.  A formal written report is submitted following the investigation.
